Project Overview:
Canadian
Hunter Exploration, an oil & gas firm in Canada, required a gravel
source in Northern British Columbia to rehabilitate a private access road
of 122 km. Radarscan successfully detected approximately 800,000 m3 of
well blended gravel in a deposit within 4 km from the midpoint of the
122 km roadway.
Sand was also found within the same deposit.
Result:
This ground penetrating radar survey saved the company
hundreds of thousands of dollars by not having to import gravel from a
source 2 hours distance south of the new gravel source.
